Project Ollie

During my 3rd year 2nd semester, I did a collab project with my friends :) And our project title is Ollie!

It's about a grumpy, greedy and selfish fisherman that one day drown into the sea but was saved by a mermaid.

Forest of Eden, environment design.

Golden Pearl, it can grant wishes.

Fishpaste, a potion that allows Ollie to breathe underwater.

Cheers to Greek culture!

Recently, for a school project, I've done some concept design based on Greece. I was very inspired by Greek Goddesses and statues, and also the Panthenon! Here are the characters that I've created! 

Both are my Greek characters! On the left is the evil enchantress named Lilith. It means female demon and it's also rumored to be the name of Adam's first wife. I named her that because she's evil and seductive at the same time. She loves power and royalty. On the right is Lily, the opposite of Lilith. She's the sister of Lilith and Goddess of love and Purity. 

Creature design, scorpion + turtle. They are slightly bigger than humans. Usually guards the gates of palaces and senates.

A stone Golem. Only comes alive when ignited by magic. It resides beneath the famous Pantheon.

Senate design. It suppose to look majestic and royal. Though evil resides inside.

Watercolour~

 Chinese like painting of birds. Birds are beautiful.

Roses are beautiful too, but their thorns hurt. Never mind, use gloves when tending to roses. Hahaha :)

Sketches (Mix Media)

These are some mix media drawings I did recently. I combined inking and digital art. All of it are based on the theme "depression". So, i tried to use very soft palettes and colour scheme.

 This here are some iconic designs. It'll be cool if someone made it a T-shirt or notebook cover print! :)

 These are some sketches from my notebook that I coloured digitally. Which do you feel? It's mostly sad though.

This is titled, Solitary. He is actually sitting on an electric pole. Hey, anything is possible! I used a lot of line art here and i tried to make a flow too, so that it directs to the main subject, the guy.

Storybook/Novel Illustrations

Let's say if I get the chance to draw for a novel or storybook, this would be the type of drawing I'm aiming for! Haha :D

 This would be Goldilocks and the Three Bears! I like crayon like texture, i feel that it's more friendly and cute! So i tried it on this artwork. How is it?

 This is titled Summer Breeze. Originally, I wanted to name it Fields if Gold but that title exist already in one of the olden songs.

This here, is my version of Thumbelina. She tries to find cure for a sick guardian.

 Above is a Greek enchantress. I want to show how royal she is, and also powerful, seductive and sly.

Here, is an illustration of an evening scenery by the lake house. And below, is an after rain atmosphere at the lakehouse. Both have different colour schemes, which helps me to show better feelings of warmth and coldness in both artworks respectively.
